Wireless Street (private collection)

Anzac Day, 2011, I discovered two old blocks of Oregon timber in my Grandfather’s shed. As a grandchild I would often find him here, always a project on the go. If not in his shed, he would be entertaining grandkids with humour and trickery, or in his much loved garden. This work is a coupling of those two special places, and homage to a beautiful man who is no longer with us. The found timber is ‘wrapped’ in mosaic representative of the seemingly endless garden at Wireless St.
